Persistence of Yliaster.

This happened near the end of ep. 116 but was cut out for some reason… 117 aired two years ago today.
I think all the future guys would be really into food……despite not being able to eat.
Well, here’s Aporia…
I wanted to add more stuff, but really can’t. Among other things, my tablet has been having problems over the past year, and now the pen is broken as well.
Did you know that the wacom pen is really sensitive to changes in humidity….No? …. Neither did I.
Repair is not an option, so I want to take the time to do the research, and make the right purchase, since I’ll be using it for a long time.
I probably won’t be drawing for quite a while.
Retooled this a little bit, also made the harmonica a little better.

Aporia is so large, that his friends look like dolls compared to him.
He’s going to attack the city with that thing…….soon, all of neo domino will tremble before it’s crisp juicy horror.
In the chinese fandom there’s a running joke that associates Placido with pineapples. It stems from a well known sub mistranslation.
In Chinese, “Large pineapple” is pronounced very similar to “diablo” (hence the error). So in that scene in 105 he’s pointing dramatically and threatening the city with his pineapple.
The diablo are still referred to as “large pineapples” by fans.
They’re here to avenge their master.

I wanted to make an accurate height chart for the future group and Iliaster, to help me scale them appropriately when drawing. I used the drawings from the DVD booklet scans.
In this one below, I scaled them all relative to the size of a duel monsters card. (the red rectangles are cards.)
A few notes:
- Jose and Lucciano are always shown with Placido, so their heights are basically known, and I didn’t add them. Placido is slightly shorter than Bruno. This is shown just before he punches Bruno.
- Ultimate Placido is surprisingly large. But I scaled his head and upper torso to match Standing!Placido so I’m pretty sure it’s accurate.
- I’d like to put Aporia’s D-Wheel in there too if possible, but I don’t have a good picture of it.
- Paradox’s height is just a guess. Does anyone have any references for how tall he is?
I don’t know… anyone have any better ideas? Or suggestions…etc?
